This piece is suitable for intermediate to advanced, and advanced students of the piano. It starts out in a fairly simple manner and it builds up gradually in harmonies, texture and rhythm. You can see two contradicting pages of the score further down.
As there is no recording for this piece yet, I can send you a MIDI realisation of the piece, of course bear in mind that the sound quality will be adequate.
The piece is in 7/8. It resembles the Greek kalamatianos dance but it only gives a distant imporession of it. The piece has a general playful feel but be aware of the contradicting dolce and agitato sections. It consists of one melodic idea that reappears throughout the piece in verious forms.
In case you were wondering: no, there are no contemporary techniques to this piece.
